Russian oil on the territory of Israel

Israel has begun to pump over Russian oil on it’s territory. From the moment the double-sided project will be put in force Israel turn into “oil bridge” connecting Mediterranean and Red seas, Europe and Asia.

Realization of this project, according to prognosis of Washington institute of the Near-East Politics, will weaken positions of OPEK and strengthen Russia – Israel relations. Moreover, Israel will earn millions of dollars as a payment for using oil pipe-line Ashkelon-Eilat.

It is expected that the first ship with Russian oil will go to the Asia from Israel port Eilat in the end of November. Consumers of this valuable raw material will be India and Taiwan.
